My highlights of the week! Not always easy but it’s part of life. Ups and downs make the ride interesting. Earth isn’t flat either 🙂
- Drinking original Argentinian mate with my new friend and improvised Spanish teacher Martin;
- Hiking up la Rhune, a summit (905 m) on the border between France and Spain;
- After 7 months not flying helicopters, being on top of the clouds again! This is something I used to experience every other week and is really an amazing experience;
- Running down la Rhune, following closely behind the 10 years old Luca, a regular on this hill. He’s been trailing up and down la Rhune with his father regularly the last four years. It was hard to keep up!;
- Drinking an Orangina after the effort, one of my childhood drinks we could only find in France 25 years ago. Good memories;
- Realising I have been travelling for a month already;
- Playing handpan at Anouk’s yoga class. A really strong moment of co-creation;
- Going to an outdoor salsa party. It was beautiful to watch people dance;
- Not finding the courage to dance;
- Understanding the link between my anxiety of dancing salsa and my core-wound (something is wrong with me). Big win despite the unpleasant situation!;
- Spending an evening with Clément, a local. We had a wonderful exchange about personal development, family relationships, romantic relationships, having had similar experiences;
- Deciding to spend 3 weeks in San Sebastián to learn some Spanish before I visit more of the Spanish country;
- Deciding to participate in the Alchemy of Touch Level 2 training in September in Andalucía to deepen my bodywork skills.
